About  BethCarina

Surrounded by a family of creative jewellers Beth's inspiration derives from the raw materials of the craft which she as a child found enthralling.
BethCarina strives to create designs with stones that are as individual as people themselves, resting the designs on the backbone of high standards and quality.
With an eye on future trends, Beth continues to expand and create her BethCarina
collections.

A word from Beth

Welcome everyone! My name is Beth I am the creator of BethCarina. I am a jeweller by trade and a creative by nature. I have been working in the fine jewellery field now for over 10 years and get great satisfaction out of solving problems and finding that eureka moment! I especially like creating diverse collections of jewellery where the individual can find a piece to match their likes and needs. I get a kick out of bringing those years of experience to different design medias and using alternative materials as well as metals and gemstones.

BethCarina jewellery care

BethCarina jewellery is handcrafted from precious, semi-precious metals and semi-precious stones. Just like all rare and precious items it requires love and care. To help keep your jewellery in its best condition we have some tips as well as "dos" and "don’ts".

●    We recommend gently wiping down your jewellery after every wear with your BethCarina anti tarnish cloth to help prevent tarnishing and dulling that can affect your jewellery over time.

●    To help your jewellery stay in the best possible condition avoid contact with liquids and chemicals that will accelerate tarnishing (i.e. perfume, sea water, sweat, moisturizer, cleaning products and chlorine) as well as exposure to humidity (bathrooms, sauna).

●    Always store your jewellery away from direct sunlight as this can cause stones to fade as well as encouraging tarnishing.

All the above factors can contribute to your jewellery becoming dull over time.

●    The best way to store your jewellery is either in the box your piece(s) came in or in a jewellery box positioned out of direct sunlight where pieces can be stored separately and avoid touching or rubbing against each other as this can cause scratches and or dints on metal and chips on stones.

●    BethCarina recommends that jewellery be worn on a rotational basis, your favorite pieces will last longer if they are not constantly worn.

Throughout history jewellery as a treasured possession was mainly worn for special occasions. A piece was not intended to be worn every day. Even the highest quality materials can be damaged if not handled with care; diamonds can chip or break. While handmade pieces are made to last they still need to be handled thoughtfully. Even the hardiest pieces will break when forced or roughly handled.

●    To promote longevity in your pieces avoid wearing to bed, the gym or any active pursuit that may cause snagging and/or breakage (in the case of the gym it's bending and scratching.) Always put pieces into a lined box or pouch and store in a secure place.

Returns

If you are unhappy with your order for any reason please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order before returning the item(s.) BethCarina must be contacted before any items are returned. Please email or message us within this time period. Depending on your order, we will either issue a full refund or exchange for items(s) once we have received them. All items must be returned in the packaging in which they came, with the same type of postage as the original shipping, ie. tracking, insurance and “signature on delivery” status. Tracking information must be emailed directly to BethCarina at [email protected]. If these conditions are not followed, we reserve the right to reject or refuse any refund should items become damaged, lost or stolen during shipment. If you request alterations from the original parameters of a listed piece this will be regarded as a custom order. All custom-made orders are final and cannot be returned.

Repairs

Please send all BethCarina repairs back to us! If any items need repair, for example, if they have been accidentally dropped or damaged, please email us detailed photos and we will give a rough estimate of how much it will cost to make repairs. An accurate quote for repairs cannot be given until we receive the piece as there might be damage that may not show up clearly in photos. If items are sent elsewhere for repairs any option that there may have been to exchange or return with a refund for the piece will be voided. The security of repairs while in the post to BethCarina is the responsibility of the sender. We recommend that the item(s) have parcel tracking, insurance and “sign on delivery” status.
